Born in Naples 5/17/1966.
Married to Sandrine Lelong; two children.
1988 – Degree in Political Sciences at Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples.
1995 – Master in International Public Administration at Ecole Nationale d’Administration of
Paris.
In march 1992 he enters the Diplomatic Career at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since then he has been assigned to Directorate General for Cultural Relations and to the Spokesman Office of the Minister. He served also in the Department for Military Politics of Italian Joint Chief of Staff.
From September 1996 to may 2000 he has been appointed at the Italian Embassy in Mexico as Chief of the economic department.
From June 2000 to June 2004 he has been the Italian Consul in Brussels.

From June 2004 to July 2007 he has served at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Head of the Staff of the Director General for Human Resources.
On august 1st 2007 he assumed his post as Consul General of Italy in Chicago.
